Explanation
Prostatitis is an inflammation or infection of the prostate (the gland surrounding the neck of the bladder and urethra). Prostatitis is not contagious. It may rarely accompany cancer of the prostate.
Considerations
The signs & symptoms are: 1) Urgency to urinate. 2) Burning with urination. 3) Frequent urination; waking to urinate at night. 5) Difficulty starting urination and emptying the bladder completely. 6) Fever; chills. 7) Pain between the scrotum and anus. 8) Joint and muscle aches. 9) Blood in the urine (sometimes) or semen. 10) Low back pain. 11) Pain with a doctor’s rectal examination. Usually it is caused from a bacterial infection. Smoking is a contributor. Remaining sexually active is a good prevention.
Treatment
Drink a glass of water every hour. Maintain a high level of sexual activity. Unless acute, take hot baths of 15 to 30 minutes each.

Cranberry Complex
Contains cranberry juice to prevent bacteria adhering to the prostate wall along with anti-microbial herbs to help control infection. Take 2, 4 times daily for 3 days; then 1, 4 times daily for 6 days.

Male Power
Stimulates hormone production & helps control inflammation. Take 2, 3 times daily.

Pumpkin Seed Oil
High in zinc and essential fatty acids. Take 2 daily. If acute, take 4 daily.
