Explanation

Considerations
Patient may be asymptomatic and appear well-nourished in the early stages of the disease. However, physical signs may be obvious such as enlarged liver which is easily palpated. With more serious liver failure, there appears massive edema, jaundice, as well as other symptoms.
Treatment
